About Us:

The Telangana Social Welfare Residential Educational Institutions Society (TSWREIS) under the Ministry of Social Welfare has been passionately and impeccably rendering its services for the past 39 years to improve the standards of life of students from the marginalized community by providing them with quality and sustainably able education in English up to graduation. As a part of the newly formed Telangana Government’s flagship program “FREE KG TO PG EDUCATION,” 30 new Social Welfare Residential Degree Colleges were established in 2016, one of which is TSWRDC (W) Kamareddy. Starting with the strength of 176 with six course combinations, now to catch up with NEP 2020, we are offering CBCS course combinations. The college is affiliated with Telangana University, Dichpally, Nizamabad, and the curriculum for all the courses is prescribed by the concerned Board of Studies of the university. The same curriculum is adopted by all the departments in the college. Other co-curricular and extra-curricular activities are designed and implemented in accordance with the Academic Calendar issued by the Commissioner of Collegiate (CCE) and the Almanac given by the university.
